purchased my home from another realtor which has now turned out to be a truly regrettable
experience. I was a First Time Buyer and purchased my home using seller financing. After 2
years of paying the seller mortgage payments, the seller asked me to move threatening
foreclosure against me. I shared this information with Shonda who assured me that this awful
seller had to agree to the terms of the promissory note and purchase and sale agreement. Also,
I adhered to Shonda’s advice to contact an attorney to determine if the seller had taken out an
additional mortgage on the property. Sure enough, the seller had taken out a second mortgage
by forging my signature. Since then I have filed charges with the police that have now been
elevated to criminal charges. Between the advice of my attorney and Shonda’s expertise in the
real estate buying process, I am assured that once the legal process plays out, I will be deemed
the legal owner of my property.
